MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Statement of MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for the QFP—QUALIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Credential
The INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION of QUALIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS (IAQFP) of Palm Desert, CA is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit professional business league association.
IAQFP, in addition to being a volunteer-administered professional association offering affiliation to QFP—QUALIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS, also serves as the profession's accrediting and certifying body of Financial Planners.
The QFP—QUALIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation is awarded to recognized financial planning professionals who become IAQFP Certified—Financial Planners, universally identified under the professions single, unifying identifier: QFP—QUALIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER.
- The QFP designation is not a “designation of designations,” but rather serves as the single, unifying moniker of the Financial Planning Profession, and its duly accredited professionals.
- The QFP designation unifies both under One Profession—One Designation while simplifying, for the public, the ever-growing “alphabet soup designations maze” of the broader financial services fields thus resulting in an end to such public confusion over 'who's who' i.e., who is a Qualified Financial Planner professional.
QFP—QUALIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS are those who have met, and who agree to continuously abide by IAQFP Standards of education, exam, experience, and ethics, and are those who are also subject to IAQFP Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct, and the IAQFP Disciplinary & Complaint Process, which embody each of the IAQFP Standards.
Attainment of the QFP—QUALIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER credential, and right to its use, is subject to satisfactory fulfillment and ongoing adherence and compliance with the following:
